Doris Day, M.D., is a board-certified dermatologist who specializes in longevity beauty in New York City and is a clinical professor of dermatology at New York University Langone Medical Center. She has won awards for her work in laser research, teaching and for promoting the field of dermatology and is ranked by Newsweek as the #3 top cosmetic dermatologist in the US for the second year in a row. She is also a Castle Connolly Top Doctor for over twenty years and has consistently won the Castle Connolly Exceptional Women in Medicine award since its inception over ten years ago.
Dr. Day regularly lectures at national and international medical and aesthetic conferences and shares her knowledge and experience with other physicians on the art and techniques of aesthetic rejuvenation and a holistic approach to aging beautifully. She is a member of several national and international organizations including the ASLMS, ASDS where she has served on the Board of Directors, The AAD, WDS, NY State Dermatology Society, and New York Facial Plastic Surgery Society. She is also an inductee into the American Honors Society of Dental and Facial Aesthetics and has served on the medical advisory boards and training panels for Allergan, Galderma, Merz, and Crown, Revance, L’Oreal, and Estee Lauder, among others. Dr. Day earned an English degree from Columbia University, completed her master’s in journalism and science writing at New York University and her M.D. at Downstate Medical School in New York. She completed her residency in Dermatology at Cornell University College of Medicine/ NY Hospital with the title of Chief Resident. She is married for over 34 years and has two children and two grandchildren. Her favorite activities outside of work and travel are spending time with her family, biking, reading, and cooking. Her daughter and daughter in law are both dermatology residents and she looks forward to having them join her practice when they graduate. |
