Jamie Hu, MD

Jamie Hu is a board-certified dermatologist, who recently graduated from her ASDS Cosmetic and Dermatologic Clinical Fellowship at the Wellman Center/Massachusetts General Hospital. She completed her undergraduate studies in Biology and German Studies at Cornell University, and received her medical degree from the Yale School of Medicine. After residency at the University of Miami, during which she served as Chief Resident in her final year of training, she moved back to Boston to complete her fellowship. Currently, she practices clinical Dermatology at the Harvard Medical School teaching hospital Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where she serves as Director of Hair Loss – while continuing to conduct research at the Wellman Center for Photomedicine.
An active member of multiple professional organizations, Dr. Hu serves on several committees within the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. She has authored over 30 peer-reviewed manuscripts and book chapters, and is dedicated to resident education and mentorship. Her clinical interests include cosmetic dermatology, medical dermatology, and hair. |
