Jamie Hu, MD

Jamie Hu is one of the current ASDS Cosmetic and Dermatologic Clinical Fellows at the Wellman Center/Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. She completed her undergraduate studies in Biology and German Studies at Cornell University, and received her medical degree from the Yale School of Medicine. Dr. Hu recently finished Dermatology residency at the University of Miami, where she served as Chief Resident during her final year of training. Originally from the Boston area, she then moved back to Boston for fellowship under the mentorship of Dr. Mathew Avram and Dr. Rox Anderson.
An active member of multiple professional organizations, Dr. Hu serves on several committees within the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. She has authored over 30 peer-reviewed manuscripts and book chapters, and is dedicated to resident education and mentorship. Her clinical interests include cosmetic dermatology, medical dermatology, and hair. She continues to engage in research and is passionate about developing novel therapies for dermatologic conditions. |
