Peter Rullan, MD

Peter Rullan, M.D. received his dermatology residency training at the University of California, Irvine. He became board certified by the American Board of Dermatology in 1983. He is also a Diplomate of the American Boards of Cosmetic Surgery and Cosmetic Facial Surgery. He is a volunteer clinical faculty member at the University of California, San Diego, Department of Dermatology. He is immediate Past-President of the International Peeling Society and well-known as an international expert on chemical peels and the treatment of acne scars. He has been co-director of 15 national or international live chemical peel workshops. He has authored over 30 peer-reviewed publications and has chapters in 12 books on cosmetic surgery. His daughter, Jennifer Rullan, is also a dermatologist. They work together at the Dermatology Institute where he is medical director. He loves to play guitar and golf.
