Aria Vazirnia, MD, MAS, FAAD is a board-certified dermatologist as well as ASDS fellowship-trained cosmetic dermatologic surgeon practicing in Beverly Hills and Westlake Village, California.
Dr. Vazirnia graduated summa cum laude from UCLA and completed his medical school education, master’s degree in clinical research, and dermatology residency at UC San Diego School of Medicine. During residency, he authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and textbook chapters and was elected to the resident board of the California Society of Dermatology & Dermatologic Surgery and the American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery. Following residency, he completed a rigorous ASDS-accredited cosmetic dermatologic surgery fellowship at Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts General Hospital and the Wellman Center for Photomedicine in Boston – where the majority of laser technologies are invented. While in Boston, Dr. Vazirnia was trained by world experts and inventors of many laser devices to operate these energy-based devices safely yet effectively. During and after his Harvard fellowship training, Dr. Vazirnia developed an interest and passion in tumescent liposuction and completed a second year-long fellowship in tumescent liposuction and liposculpture at the Roxbury Institute in Beverly Hills, training in a specialized and unique 3-dimensional circumferential approach to lymphatic sparing liposuction for lipedema and lipodystrophies. He is now a part of the Advanced Lipedema Treatment program at the Roxbury Institute along with Dr. David Amron. In his spare time, Dr. Aria enjoys playing piano and guitar, playing tennis, and spending quality time with his family and friends. |
