Dr. Catherine DiGiorgio is a board-certified dermatologist and Harvard fellowship trained laser and cosmetic dermatologist and is the founder and director of Dermatology, Laser & Aesthetics in Boston, Massachusetts. She was selected by Newsweek Magazine as one of the Top 100 Cosmetic Dermatologists in America for 2022 and 2023 and has been consistently recognized as one of Boston Magazine’s Top Doctors and Castle Connelly Top Doctors.
Dr. DiGiorgio is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology. She is an expert in cosmetic dermatologic procedures, both minimally invasive and non-invasive treatments. She is an expert in the use of laser and energy-based devices and injectables, such as neuromodulators, dermal fillers, and thread lifts. She also performs liposuction utilizing the tumescent anesthesia technique. Born and raised in New Orleans, Dr. DiGiorgio earned a Master of Science in Human Genetics and a Doctor of Medicine from Tulane University School of Medicine. She completed her Internal Medicine internship and Dermatology Residency at LSU in New Orleans. Dr. DiGiorgio subsequently completed a 2-year Laser and Cosmetic dermatology fellowship at Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts General Hospital and the Wellman Center for Photomedicine. Dr. DiGiorgio has performed numerous research studies to improve and advance the application of laser and energy-based devices to prevent and solve medical and cosmetic dermatology problems. Dr. DiGiorgio has authored many peer-reviewed publications and textbook chapters. She is an active member of several professional organizations including the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, and American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. She was elected and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the ASDS. She was elected by her peers to serve as Program Chair for the 2023 ASLMS Annual Meeting. She was also selected to represent ASDSA on the AADA Mohs Committee. Dr. DiGiorgio is regularly invited to speak on her expertise and experiences at national and international medical conferences. |
