Staying current in this ever-expanding field of laser and aesthetic skin therapy, where best practices are often mysterious to new and experienced physicians alike, remains a challenge. The course objectives will emphasize cutting-edge techniques and technologies while critically evaluating the best practice approach to enhance the abilities of physicians to perform laser and aesthetic procedures safe and effectively.

Who Should Attend?
This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of cosmetic surgeons, dermatologists, otolaryngologists—head and neck surgeons, facial plastic surgeons, plastic surgeons, oculoplastic surgeons and gynecologist cosmetic surgeons involved in the care of patients seeking cosmetic medical and surgical care.

Learning Goal/Purpose
At the conclusion of this course, you will be able to:

Assess safe practices of laser and aesthetic procedures and describe potential complications.
- 
Summarize optimal techniques for laser and aesthetic procedures and understand how to implement them into clinical practice.
- 
Recognize appropriate clinical endpoints for assessing treatment parameters with laser and aesthetic procedures.
- 
Discuss new and emerging technologies and controversies in the field of laser surgery and aesthetic skin therapy.
