Oge Onwudiwe, M.D. is a board-certified dermatologist in private practice in the Washington, D.C. area. Dr. Onwudiwe received her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry with honors from Howard University and was inducted into the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. On academic scholarship, she attended Howard University College of Medicine where she graduated at the top of her class and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She received her Dermatology training from Howard University and subsequently completed the esteemed Laser and Cosmetic Fellowship at Wellman Center for Photomedicine at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School. She is the author of a number of peer-reviewed publications and text-book chapters and is actively involved in cutting edge research in aesthetics. In addition, Dr. Onwudiwe is a frequently invited speaker at both national and international Dermatology conferences where she shares her expertise and experience as she strongly believes it is incumbent that the education of practitioners and the general population about the risks, benefits, complications and limitations of aesthetic procedures continues to be shared by true experts in the field. Her interests include laser and aesthetic dermatology, treatment of skin cancers, scars, pigmented disorders and management of hair loss.
