Saami Khalifian, MD

Dr Saami Khalifian is board-certified cosmetic dermatologist specializing in minimally invasive cosmetic procedures and cosmetic surgery with specialized training in dermatologic surgery, facial plastics, and a deep scientific background in cutaneous immunology, clinical trials, and curricular development. He serves as a clinical investigator, consultant, trainer, and speaker for Allergan, Galderma, and Merz, amongst others. He received his medical degree from Johns Hopkins and completed his dermatology residency at Harvard before moving to San Diego to specialize in aesthetics. His basic and translational research focus is on cutaneous immunology, previously to minimize immunosuppression for hand and face transplants, and now with a focus on clinical trials for injectable fillers, toxins, and energy-based devices. He has a passion for adventure traveling and is an avid surfer and snowboarder.
