Stefani Kappel, MD

Dr. Kappel completed medical school at the UC Irvine College of Medicine with honors. She went on to complete her residency in dermatology at UCLA. After completing her residency she stayed on as full time faculty at UCLA as clinical professor of dermatology where she taught the residents and medical students. She then went on to complete a combined procedural dermatology ACGME accredited fellowship at UC Davis (Mohs micrographic surgery) and the Laser and Skin Surgery Center of Northern California (Cosmetic dermatology and Laser Medicine) where she also participated in numerous clinical trials. She was the Director of Mohs Surgery at the Laser and Skin Surgery Center of Northern California for 4 years before returning to her home town of Orange County where she opened her own practice in Newport Beach California in 2020. She recently launched her skincare line MDAiRE in January 2022. Dr. Kappel enjoys teaching via various platforms and uses social media (YouTube and Instagram) to share knowledge and information with her patients and colleagues. She spends her free time educating on various social media platforms and chasing after her two kids.
