Swati Kannan, MD, is a double board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon and cosmetic dermatologist. She specializes in Mohs and reconstructive surgery of the face and body. In addition, she performs aesthetic treatments such as injectables, laser and energy-based devices, threadlifts and other procedures for facial and body rejuvenation and hair loss.
She completed her dermatology residency training at Henry Ford Hospital and a Mohs fellowship at University of California in San Diego (UCSD), under the guidance of Dr. Arisa Ortiz and Dr. Brian Jiang. Currently, she is an assistant professor at UCSD, where she practices surgical and cosmetic dermatology in an academic setting. She is also involved in the training of dermatology residents and procedural fellows at UCSD. She has authored several peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. She continues to be involved in research and advancements within the field. |
