Dr. Tomi Lee Wall is a leading board-certified dermatologist recognized for her expertise in laser surgery and non-invasive skin rejuvenation. She specializes in laser and cosmetic dermatology in her private practice in Northern California and has been consistently named one of the top doctors by Castle Connolley, San Francisco Magazine, and Oakland Magazine.
Prior to opening her Bay Area private practice, Dr. Wall completed a clinical and research-based laser fellowship at Harvard Medical School’s Wellman Laboratories of Photomedicine and Massachusetts General Hospital. She also served as chief resident at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where she completed her dermatology residency program. She received her medical degree from Loyola Stritch School of Medicine and her undergraduate degree in biology with a minor in psychology from the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Wall has co-authored numerous articles in scientific journals and book chapters in Fitzpatrick's Dermatology in General Medicine and Bolognia's Textbook of Dermatology. She is a regular guest expert frequently contributing to newspaper, radio, and television programs such as NBC, CBS, and A View from the Bay. She has contributed to the Derm Podcast and has been a dermatology partner with Rodan + Fields. Prior to private practice, her academic career included teaching at both Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital. Currently, she is active in teaching Stanford dermatology residents about lasers and noninvasive cosmetic procedures. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, The American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, and the Skin of Color Society. |
